Great memory..

Nothing beats waking up in a panic, Mother's Day morning to the sound of fire alarms going off in my house.  My sweet husband was quietly in the kitchen with Paislee making me breakfast in bed, trying to be so so sneaky.  The only catch is I didn't end up eating it in bed because I ran in a huge panic out of our room, half asleep might I add, to see why the fire alarm was going off.

I ran into the kitchen where Jayson had quickly tried to remove the fire alarm off the ceiling before I woke up and a kitchen full of smoke.  Haha oh how I love this man!  Breakfast is his specialty around this house, but of course on this very morning he burnt the bacon resulting in large amounts of smoke. 

Although I didn't get the "breakfast in bed" mothers day surprise, I wouldn't trade that for the awesome memory I will always have from Mother's Day 2011!

I love being a Mom

There is nothing more rewarding than teaching a child and watching them grow and learn from your example every day

I am so thankful I get to be a stay at home Mom.  I never miss a single thing in Paislee's life and we spend so much time together it is impossible for us not to be best friends. 

Being a Mom has taught me more than anything else in my life.  The love a mother has for her child or children is amazing and I am grateful I get to experience that love every day.

Nothing beats looking at a child and seeing yourself in their mannerisms, expressions and personality.  I love seeing the little parts of me and the little parts of Jayson reflected through Pais.  There is nothing better.

I will forever be thankful for the special gift my heavenly father has blessed me with on this earth, and that is the gift of motherhood.  What a huge calling in life it is and alot of responsibiliy hangs over your shoulders, but the blessings that come from being a Mom are far greater than anything else you will ever experience.

I am so grateful for my Mom and the amazing woman that she is.  She truly is my very best friend and I hope to one day share the same relationship with Paislee that I share with my own Mom.  Thanks Mom for all that you do for me and my family.  I love you so so much!

And to the best Mother-in-law on the planet, you are amazing and I am so thankful I get to have a woman like you in my life.  Thanks for allowing me to be apart of your amazing family and literally being the PERFECT mother-in-law a girl could ask for.
