My Baby is Three!!!

I can't believe my baby is three years old! Holy smokes time flies. One morning they are teeny, tiny little cuddle balls on your shoulder and the next second they are grown up kids! What a blessing this girl has been in our lives.
We started the day off with cuddles in mommy's bed. This picture was taken at exactly 7:36, the time she was born three years ago. Paislee had her birthday breakfast with Mickey Mouse pancakes, eggs, sausage and bacon and apple juice. Her favorites! We then spent the morning at the Riverdale splash pad with some of our fun friends from our neighborhood. Most of the time was spent at the park :)

We stopped and picked Daddy up at his office afterwards and went and got taco's from this delicious Taco stand that is down the street (I know it sounds sketchy but they were seriously SO good!) We went home and after a good nap Paislee got ready for her big party. She couldn't wait for her princess party at Toad's!
We let her invite 8 friends where the kiddos had fun playing arcades, go-carting/mini golfing and eating pizza. It was so nice and low key compared to her past parties where I've had a big shin dig at our house for her. Plus, I think she enjoyed going and doing something fun with all of her favorite people!

Happy birthday Goof Mongoose! We love you!

Janey Joe

Where do I even begin with this girl. So much has happened over the last few months with this girl I don't even know where to start. All I can say is she has been honestly the best baby. I know I always said that about Paislee too, but honestly we some how lucked out with two happy, easy babies!
That first night in the hospital I prepared myself to be waking up at least 2-4 times in the night with her like most newborns. She only woke up once that night. The nurses said just be prepared, the second and third nights are usually the worst. But, to my surprise she only woke up once those nights too. She litetrally started sleeping through the night at 2 weeks old. SERIOUSLY! She's amazing.

Her hair is so funny. She seriously looks like she should be Hillary and Sean's baby. If it's wet or has gel in it it looks like this.

She is so content and chill. She literally just hangs out with us all day. Only cries when she's hungry or needs a bum change. Her personality reminds me of Paislee at this age in so many ways.

She started smiling at around 4-6 weeks. There is seriously nothing better than a gummy baby smile!

Her left eye has a clogged tear duct which is no fun at all.  Pais had the exact same thing in the exact same eye till she was 6 months.  Hopefully it clears up soon.  She is a breastfeeding champ and eats around every 3 hours in the day and goes 8-10 hours at night.  She spits up 1/10 of how much Paislee used to spit up.  It is SO NICE! She is starting to coo and try to talk which is so much fun.  She is SO close to giggling and I can hardly wait for it to happen.
Notice the bubbles in the corners of her mouth. She is constantly spitting bubbles out of her mouth.

CHUBBA BUBBA!!! I didn't take her in for her 2 month till she was 2 1/2 months. 13 lb 2 oz (86%) 23 inches (55%) and head was 15 7/8 inches (74%). It's crazy how her measurments are very similiar to what Paislee's were at this age. It's so fun! She handled the shots like a champ! Mom didnt though.....Its so sad seeing your baby cry from pain :(
First time going to the cabin

First time at the temple! (Brigham City Open house)

First dip in the pool at Lanny's house

Sportin her Grandma hair style. If her hair isn't wet or jelled it goes poofy into this classic grandma hair do. Love my little granny!
We couldn't be happier with how the last couple of months have gone with this new addition to our family. She adds to much happiness to our family and I can't imagine life without her!

Jaycee's blessing

July 29th was a special day in the Adam household. Jaycee Jane was blessed by her daddy-o and we had a little party to celebrate. Jayson did such an amazing job and I feel so blessed to have a husband like him to father our children. It was a special day indeed!

Jaycee wore the same dress I wore when I was blessed 24 years ago! Paislee wore the same dress as well when she was blessed. What a special thing the three of us have to share :)

The Wood clain. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a picture of the Adam clan before people started leaving :( Let's just say there was alot of them. Love being apart of such a fun, big family!

We couldn't have asked for a better day with a better family to share it with.

My little dancer

I signed Paislee up for an 8 week summer dance camp. Oh man has she loved it! She looks forward to class every week and has done really well. It is so fun for me to watch her learn and have fun doing something I loved once doing as a child. She starts at Luv 2 Dance this next Tuesday and I cant even begin to tell you how excited I am for her Christmas recital already!

First day of dance class
Putting her tap shoes in her bag
Her favorite part of class was putting on the princess dress ups and dancing.

Oh so talented! haha

Fish Lake 2012

I was crossing my fingers after Jaycee was born that she would be a good one... Obviously for so many different reasons, but something that had been on my mind since the second I found out I was pregnant was "Would I be able to make it to the Fish Lake family trip?" I know, how ridiculous to be so concerned over making it to one camping trip when having a newborn. But seriously people this trip is THE BEST! Luckily I was feeling good and Jaycee has been just the greatest baby so it all worked out!

As you all know, from previous posts in the past, this trip consists of Fishing...

We caught like 6 or 7 fish on Paislee's princess pole!

We had more rain this year than ever before. Almost every day the fishing would end with us all huddled under the shade cover.

BUT, the fishing was hot this year so we couldn't pass it up!

We were only able to go on one fourwheeler ride this year due to the evenings full of rain! Luckily it would ben nice for a few hours in the morning to get some fishing in, but from 1:00 on it usually rained a good bit...

Sunday morning we hiked up to Bever pond which was a perfect hike for the little kids (and me, I'm so out of shape)
Good thing Jayson is in shape cause he ended up carrying both girls most of the way haha :)
Alot of time was spent relaxing and hanging out back at the trailer due to the extensive rainfall...

Jaycee's little spot...
Lots of intense games...

And a whole lotta injuries sustained by this little gal. She had wounds on like 7 parts of her body and over 10 bruises when we got home. Poor little goose takes after her mothers accident proneness.

No trip compares to the annual Fish Lake trip! I'm so thankful for my parents who put so much time and effort into planning and preparing for this trip each year. It really is something we look forward to every single year!
