SO many things to celebrate!

First off, HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAISLEE!! Today you are four months old and I can hardly believe it! You are getting so so big and chubbier by the second. I hope you enjoyed your day of going to the doctor & getting shots (makes me tear up every time), taking a three hour nap (she hasn't done that for a while!)and hanging out with dad while I finished up some shopping. You are getting so grown up. You weigh 15 lb. 10 oz (88%) and are 25 inches tall(78%)! You have a big head just like your dad. 17 inches!(94%)I love seeing you grow every day and can't wait for all the many birthdays to come. I hope you have the happiest of happy birthdays. I love you!
Second off, exactly one year ago (literally almost exactly, it was 6:00 December 22, 2008 & right now it is 6:45 December 22, 2009)I took my very first pregnancy test and found out I was pregnant! Holy cow I can't even believe that was a year ago. It is crazy how at that moment Paislee was the size of a poppy seed and now she is 4 months old. CRAZY!! Here is a picture of me seconds after I found out I was pregnant:
I had about 50 different emotions going through my head right at this moment if you cant tell

Well the rest of this month we have spent alot of time celebrating Christmas with our families and friends. I could write about it but quite frankly I think pictures are so much better so I will just show you those. Are monthly festivities are as follows:

Paislee sitting on Santa's lap at the Adam family Christmas party

Is this not the most ridiculous Santa you've ever seen? He was like 26 and definitely not experienced in the Santa category. It was SO funny. he was the back up because the real one was sick. This is Jayson's mom's side of the family Christmas party.

Jayson and I threw an ugly sweater party. It was so much fun to see everyone!

Our family in our lovely ugly sweaters

One of the white elephant gifts was a pack of fake mustaches. Lets just say the boys had a little too much fun with those. I had like three laugh attacks (tears and all) with these silly mustaches.

We went down to UVU to support Hillary and watch her perform at a boys basketball game. We had so much fun and Paislee loved wearing her shirt Auntie H got her!

Even Santa was there too!!

We have a couple more family parties these next couple of days. I can hardly wait for Christmas! I will make sure to post after Christmas to update you on the remainder of our Christmas festivities. I hope all of you have such a Merry Christmas!

My Girl

I love her more than words can explain! I am so grateful Heavenly Father blessed me with a beautiful, healthy little girl.
I need to do a shout out to Ceryl Curtis my sister in law for taking such amazing pictures of Paislee and our family. She is so talented and seriously the best!

Paislee & Mom

Paislee and I spend ALL of our time together. She loves doing things with mom and she is always such a good girl wherever we go. I couldn't ask for a better baby. She let's me go and do whatever I need or want to and is always a good little girl. I love having a little buddy to share every moment & experience with every single day. I love her so much!

We go to the Salon where Mom gets her hair done and Paislee gets her toes painted!

We love going shopping for baby clothes! This was our most recent purchase! We will make sure she wears this to all of the holiday festivities this December.

We spend alot of time just sitting and having conversations. I always pretend she understands what I am saying and when she talks I act like I know what she is saying too.

Paislee & Mom similarities:

Paislee has my long gangly toes and fingers

We are both very sensitive

She looks more like her dad but her facials are just like mine

We go to the bathroom (if you know what I mean) almost the exact same time every single day! haha, I know that is disgusting but I think it is so funny! When she goes, I know that means I'll have to go soon, and when I go I know she will be going any minute! HAHA!

She loves sleeping with one arm above her head at night, just like me!

Whenever she is mad or trying to cry if you just start talking to her in a funny voice or act really happy you can tell she tries SO hard to hold back smiling or laughing. The majority of the time she breaks down in a big grin or laugh. ( No matter how mad I am if Jayson says or does something funny it is so hard for me to hold back a smile or laugh)

She would much rather be standing on her feet moving around then laying down or sitting. It gets exhausting sometimes!

She likes being comfortable and would prefer her jammies over any cute outfit

Her nose is ALWAYS plugged in the morning and at night. I always have to blow mine, then use the snot sucker on Paislee.

We both absolutely adore Jayson and love him so so much!

p.s. for those of you who haven't given me your email make sure you do soon because I am switching to private in one week!

Month of November

This past month has been such a fun month for our family. We spent Thanksgiving down in St. George with my side of the family and had such a fun relaxing vacation. We went down Monday night and didn't get home till last night. We spent the whole week hanging out with family, EATING, shopping, taking naps, hot tubbing, golfing, bowling, playing games etc... It was so much fun to spend the whole week with my family. It was different from any year because usually we have all of our Wood side extended family together but they were all in California this year. It literally was just my parents, my siblings (that includes Rachael my sister in law) my niece and us. We really missed the Adam family Thanksgiving festivities but look forward to spending it with them next year! I am so thankful to be apart of such close families. My family has always been way close and it was so nice to marry into a wonderful family that shares that same closeness as well. I am SOOOO thankful for our little family that Jayson and I have. Paislee has been such a blessing in our lives. I married the most amazing man out there and I am grateful for how well he treats me and loves me. I am so thankful that I can be a stay at home mom and watch my beautiful daughter grow every single day. Life could not be better!

Pais is getting so so chubby! I love it!

Her first pony!

Jayson spiked he hair in this picture. You can tell how thrilled she is about her new hair style

First bath with cousin Kambree

First time taking a shower!

I love her!

Hanging out with Embree

We came home one day after running errands and lifted up her car seat cover and she was asleep like this. haha

My Husband, The Champion!

Well I have exciting news, Jayson and his flag football team won the championship game at Weber State! haha, we are so proud of him and his team mates for pulling through this season. It is always so much fun to go and watch him play, especially since the weather has been so nice. (I usually just sit and talk with all the wife's and don't pay much attention to the game). Our weekend was very fun. Thursday Jayson and I went on a romantic date to the temple and to Robintino's for dinner. Thanks Britt for babysitting! Then on Friday while our husbands were working up in Logan us wives (Me, Beth Laloli, Erica Martinez & Brittany soon to be Thompson) went for just a girls night out. We all left our babies with sitters and went to Iggy's and to see the Michael Jackson movie. Then Saturday was the big game!

The Champions!

Paislee surprised dad with her "Go Dad!!" sweat head band

This was taken today after church. I got home from a meeting to a husband in distraught because while I was gone Paislee had her first blow out all over him and the bed and he was covered in tons of spit-up. This was what Paislee looked like (she thought it was just as funny as I did apparently).

The month of October

Our month of October was so much fun to say the least. We had so much going on and were super busy. Jayson has been busy STILL with his asphalt business... I swear its not suppose to be good weather at this time of year. Its definitely a huge blessing, but at the same time we miss him when he is gone. Hopefully this will be his last week, but if the weather keeps being so great it may not be.. I have been loving life as a stay at home mom. I am so grateful I can be home with Paislee every day and not miss a second out of her life. We spend alot of time hanging out with my mom (I love living so close to her). We go to lunch, go shopping, hang out and go run errands together all of the time. I just got a new calling in our ward as an Achievement Day leader and I am really excited! I will be working with the 10 & 11 year old girls. Paislee is growing up so much every single day. She is so stinkin fun! Here are some new things with Paislee:

  • At her 2 month check-up she weighed 12 lb 2 oz (82%)

  • She was 23 inches long (74%)

  • She is talking more and more every day, its so fun to have pretend conversations with her

  • She will be completely happy and the second you start talking to her with a sad voice her bottom lip immediately curls under and she starts to cry, regardless of what you are saying. haha It is so cute and funny! She already has such a sensitive heart

  • Paislee absolutely LOVES taking baths. I could leave her in the bath all day and she would be happy

  • She loves to be standing on her feet. I swear she will be walking before she even crawls

  • She is such a happy baby. I can just sit her on the couch and she will just sit and hang out and look around forever. She like never gets fussy (unless she's hungry, tired or has a wet diaper of course)

  • Paislee loves hanging out with her mom all day long. We have so much fun together and keep each other quite entertained

Here are some pictures from this past month

Our little Weiner! Yeah, I know most mom's get excited to dress up there little girls in something cute on Halloween, but quite frankly that's just not my style. Jayson and I had quite a few laugh attacks from this costume. Paislee will look back when she's older and think "My parents are the biggest dorks"

The Fam On Halloween Night

We started out our Halloween night visiting Grandma & Grandpa Wood. We then went to Grandma & Grandpa Adam's to visit afterwards. I made sure Paislee got LOTS of candy in her trick or treating bucket so that I could eat all of it!

We go to the Pumpkin Patch every year as a family. Paislee's got to pick out her first pumpkin!

Paislee, Kambree & Brooklyn (Casey & Nicoles little girl)

We sure missed Hillary this year at the Pumpkin Patch. It wasn't the same without her!

Paislee & Embree on Halloween. We went to a way fun Halloween Party at Klay & Katie Bingham's house with a bunch of couples. All the little babies and their costumes made me laugh so hard. We had lots of yummy food and had fun hanging with our friends.

I love this picture! I can just see from her face what she is thinking..."Mom, why in the world did you have to dress me up like an embarassing hot dog!"

Jayson loves this picture. He always makes fun of me because every time after I eat I always have food in the corners of my mouth or around my lips. Turns out Paislee has the same problem! Hopefully she'll grow out of it though cause I didn't...

She squeels and kicks her feet like crazy when she is in the bath

Paislee loves it when we hang out with Dave & Beth cause she always gets to see her BF Embree

Every Sunday after church Jayson makes us breakfast to eat before we take our Sunday nap. Paislee loves to sit and watch him!

It is now hunting season so Jayson has been going hunting alot! He invited me a couple weeks ago to go deer hunting with him but I forgot to take a picture. Here is one with him and my dad and brother

Okay I just had to throw this picture of this HUUUUUUUGE bug we found on our drive way a few weeks ago. Talk about scary!!!

Baby Blessing

Paislee was blessed this past Sunday and oh how fun it was! I had so many mixed emotions about Paislee's big day. I of course was incredibly excited for Paislee to be blessed, but a part of me was really sad... Just the thought of my little girl being blessed brought me to tears. Is she really growing up already?? I am totally going to be one of those moms that cries at every single milestone in Paislee's life. For instance like when she poops for the first time in the big girl potty, I will cry. When she says my name for the first time, I will cry. When she goes to Kindergarden for the first time, I will cry, and so on and so forth. I look forward to the future so much but I want my little girl to stay little forever! Anyways, Jayson did an amazing job with the blessing and Paislee didn't make one noise (which I was worried she would cry the whole time or something). It was also very special because Paislee wore the same blessing dress I wore when I was blessed. She looked so darling! It was so fun to have all of our family over after to have brunch and to celebrate. Here are a few pictures from the day!

Paislee's face in this picture is priceless!
