A few Sunday's back we had a dance party in our kitchen. This is a very common occurence in our household, we LOVE dance parties. This particular Sunday we had our own little country dance off to the one and only Garth Brooks and Chris LeDeux. Following our dance party I told Jayson that not only do I want to settle down in a nice home with lots of land one day, but that I want to do it soon! I want my children to be raised learning how to work and enjoy the outdoors like Jayson and I do. I want them to grow up with a little bit of country in em..... I will settle for a small house with a little bit of land with a horse or two for now...BUT eventually I would love the whole shabang!
Paislee already shows signs of how she is a little cowgirl. From being an amazing little girl on all of our camping trips, to loving the outdoors more than anything in the world and not being scared to get a little bit dirty. I see some true potential here.... Here she is last summer...
Not even the slightest bit scared to get up all in the goats grill....
Okay, cutest thing ever am I right or am I right?
Well a few hours after our country dance off we headed to my parents. For those of you who don't know at my parents house they have llamas and goats. We used to have chickens but they ate our neighbor's garden so we had to get rid of them :( They have a cute little barn and a pasture. The PERFECT set-up in my eyes. Nice neighborhood and land where they can keep the good ol country lifestyle around. It was finally a nice enough day that we let the goats out to run around and play while we were all there. Paislee was ALL over that. Wanting to ride them, kiss them and once again, get up all in their grills. She was born to be a country girl, I JUST KNOW IT!
Jayson would put her on the goats back and the goats would run like crazy. I expected my sensitive child to start to cry and get scared. Quite the contrary.....
She laughed hysterically and didn't want to get off!
This little girl LOVES every second of being able to touch and play with the pets. I told Jayson, we NEED to do something soon so she can grow up experiencing this not only at Papa's house, but at her own house too!
Action shot! haha I love her face in this one
Who knows, maybe in a couple of years you'll see this chick suited up, helmet and all at the Davis County Rodeo... Mutton Bustin!!
We figure if she laughs and squeals as much as she does riding on a goat, she will LOVE what a sheep has to offer...haha

I found myself giggling reading this post. It reminded me of when Jayson and I were in high school him and all his buddies came over for a place to crash. Me and my friends had gone to bed and Jayson, Dave, Aaron, maybe Chance? decided to video record themselves doing skits! Jayson had dressed up in my dads western gear and was talking with an accent. They didn't tell us they did this and I found it a day or two later. It was hilarious! Jayson and his friends were always so much fun and always nice to everyone. Good Times!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Those faces with Pais and the goat are to die for! So cute! K, and maybe you guys should move out here. It is total country and we would love it!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! Kylee...my husband totally wants to get Bridger doing the mutton bustin'. We think it is hilarious! That is awesome! Love the pics.
