........

Yet another amazing year at Fish Lake. Boy this trip is always such a blast and I am always so sad when the week is over. We spent almost a full week this year and I STILL feel like we didn't have enough time and that the week flew by way too fast. Here is our vacation this year...

Of course the boys wake up bright and early to head out in their wet suits and gear to spear fish tiger musckys. Jayson's tiger he got was SOOO close to the state record. Good job Jayson!

Meanwhile us girls back at camp get all the stuff ready for the boat and get the kiddos ready. I have absolutely NO desire to join the boys spear fishing, although I do appreciate the invitation :) Talk about scary! We meet the boys down at the dock where we head out for a full day of fishing.

Jayson's first catch of the trip..HAHA
My first catch of the trip. That's right, a double rainbow trout! We always fish with two lines but rarely do you ever catch one on both. This was a very exciting moment on our boat!
Fishing this year was the slowest we have ever seen it. The first day we caught nothing! To some that may not seem too crazy, but when your used to going down and catching anywhere from 50 to 90 fish in a day getting skunked is not fun.
All three of us patiently waiting to catch a fish on our lines.
Can you tell how much Pais likes her life jacket?
Daddy daughter fishing time..
Look what we caught on our anchor...A FISHING POLE!!!!
Paislee always wanted to help Papa drive the boat

Once 1 o' clock arrives we head back to camp where we get all geared up for a fun motorcycle/fouwheel ride. There are millions of AMAZING trails around fishlake. Each afternoon we choose which trail we want to ride then load up and go. Sometimes our rides can be 3-4 hours long depending on where we go.
Pais does so great on the fourwheeler. It literally knocks her out the second we start to ride. She loves pointing at all animals we see along the way (when she is awake that is)
As soon as we get home we eat dinner then take fun walks around the lake and campground.

Kambree especially loved holding Tessa Rose's leash
We finish up the night with a fire, smores and hit the sack. We slept out in a tent, where Paislee did awesome. It seriously would get SO cold out there. I swear like 30's or 40's. After 3 nights out in the tent once Matt and Kambree left Pais and I moved to the trailer which was much more warm :)
Thank heavens for Dora the Explorer and keeping the little girls entertained while we got to relax.
Sunday we went to Capital Reef which is always breathtaking. It's a fun drive and the scenery is beautiful.

We always make such fun memories each year. There truly is nothing better than a week in the great outdoors!

Grateful these two helped entertain eachother!

Thanks Mom & Dad for all the hard work you put into this trip and for helping out with the girls so much. We appreciate all you do for us!
Skeet shooting is always a highlight of the trip!

You know you had a fun successful camping trip when you come home stinky with dirt under your fingernails and piles and piles of dirty clothes to clean. Man I really can't wait for next year!
