As a family we always attend the Kaysville Parade on the 4th of July. I'm not gonna lie, their parade has gotten a little out of control.... The floats consist of truck's with an advertisment on it with a trailer with people throwing candy out of it. And in order to even see you must stand in the road with all the kiddies (I felt justified in this only because I had a child in my arms...haha) Although it is a tradition, I think Jayson and I might part ways with the Kaysville parade next year, not for good, just to expand our horizons a little bit.
Following the parade we always go to my parents for a bbq and swimming. With it being overcast and a tired little girl on our hands we skipped out on the swimming and went home were we all took a fabulous 2 hour nap! We then decided to go to eat as a family at Winger's..
before heading to the Kaysville fireworks. We got there early so we could walk around and hang out with the family. Unfortunately, Jayson and I got sick so 40 min before the fireworks started the two of us were running down the street to escape in our car to the local Walgreens (the out house lines were WAY to long) losing our PERFECT parking spot we got from getting their so early. Close friends and family will know this is the story of my life....Am I right or am I right?? haha TMI? Yes. I am sparing you of the WAY funny details BUT, this whole experience made this 4th of July definietly one of Jayson and I's most memorable ones yet. We laugh hysterically every time we think about it.
We made it back literally minutes before the fireworks started (and totally parked illegally, but had the best parking spot in the whole church parking lot!)
Paislee was hesitant with the sparklers at first if you cant tell...
I'm sad the 4th is over... It is such a fun holiday. I'm excited to see what is in store for next year!
K, I'm in love with Pais, just so you know!! So cute! Looks like such a blast!
