My husband is just the greatest... A couple days after I had surgery back in March (following the molar experience) I told Jayson, "When my due date comes around the corner, will you please take me on a fun vacation somewhere?" That way, when October 27th rolled around, I would be looking forward to spending an entire week with my husband, children free, instead of feeling sad I wasn't having a baby. Jayson gave me full permission to plan a vacation and within hours I was emailing our travel lady "Peggy" to have her find us some deals!

We found a great deal over Thanksgiving for a caribbean cruise and couldn't pass it up! I was feeling guilty about leaving over Thanksgiving because it was our turn to spend it with my family this year. Jayson and I have been on a couple cruises and we have learned that cruises are even more fun when you have a group, So, what better group than my family?! I called my mom and without hesitation she agreed that they would come along! By the time the cruise came we had four different families who decided to come too which made for a really good time!
Unfortunately Matt and Rach couldn't come so our Thanksgiving wasn't quite complete without them :(
Leaving Ft. Lauderdale
First day at sea! (picture of a picture, too cheap to pay $20 for the copy on the ship)
Jayson was apart of every dodgeball and volleyball tournament the entire week! One other great reason to go with a group! Fun teams!
The Cheerleaders..
Grand Cayman
First formal dinner night
We went to Falmouth Jamaica the following day which was SO fun. We climbed Dunn River Falls with everyone and went tubing down a river where the water seriously was so blue it looked fake. We stopped and experienced "real jerk chicken" and had a seriously fun day.
Labadee Haiti on Thanksgiving Day
Gold medalist's in the beach volleyball tournament.
Couldn't imagine a better way to spend Thanksgiving...
After our Thanksgiving feast! (notice everyone's beautiful tan, and i'm still pasty... Unfortunately pregnancy makes my skin SUPER sensitive so I wore spf 30 all week...First cruise I've ever had to wear sunscreen!)
You better believe we hit up karaoke almost every single night!
Our last night on the ship
Although I was in the rough part of my pregnancy while on the cruise, it couldn't have been more perfect. No cooking, cleaning, endless possibilities of food at my finger tips at all hours of the day and I could sleep whenever the heck I needed too for an entire week! A pregnant woman's dream! I still managed to stay out till past midnight (haha real cool I know) almost every night thanks to my evening naps.
We hit up the adult clubs where we danced our hearts out with Elderly couples which was one of the highlights of the whole trip...honestly... And then broke it down with the hip hop brother's at the "Dungeon" till the wee hours of the night.
Oh, and I have a confession.....I gambled for the first time in my life...Check out my poker face..
This was my first time, Jayson had just lost his $20 (we said we could each only spend 20 gambling just for fun) and I took my twenty and won us $45. Haha, $5 dollars baby! By the end of the trip I think we were able to both make our 20 dollars last and we ended up $23 dollars richer...I definitely see why the prophet came out and said "no gambling!" People around us lost hundreds left and right! It was a fun experience and we got to meet some pretty awesome old men...
Thank you Jayson for taking me on an unforgettable vacation! I'm so thankful to have a husband who works so hard so we can do fun things like this. Thank you family and friends who came along to make our trip even better! It definitely wouldn't have been near as fun without my family there sharing in on all the great experiences. And thank you my dear brother and sister-in-law Haylee and Kell for staying at our house for a whole week to take care of my child! We appreciate you guys SO SO much!
