The big M-O-V-E!

Well seeing how we have been moved in for over two months I figured I better post some pictures of the big move and some of our new home (that we LOVE).  I will only post some before and after pictures of a few room's because the majority of them aren't finished being decorated yet. Then, once the rooms are done I will for sure post them onto here.  I have so many things I still want to get, new furniture, decos, etc. and I just haven't gotten around to it yet.  Until then, here is a million photos of our move and what is complete for the most part.  We had so many people there to help us that day!  We are so blessed to have such great friends and family!

Our new house!
Side note: I worried all day who would get the honor of carrying my lingerie drawer (yes, I have a full drawer of lingerie, I have an obsession...) and of course my older brother, out of ALL people, got the lovely honor....I was so embarassed.  I saw them start to unload the truck that had the drawer in it so I ran upstairs and hid....Angie knew I was embarassed so she snapped this funny photo of him carrying it.

After (I still have alot of things I am gonna do in the kitchen like decos & stainless steel knobs on the cabinet's but I will post a picture when I am done.)

Oh how many fond memories Jayson and I have of our first home together, but we sure won't be missing you.  So many wonderful memories and moments were experienced there but we are so excited for all the many memories that will be made in our new home.

I am so happy with how everything turned out in our house.  I was worried after picking out the paint, carpet, cabinets etc. how it would all look all put together but I love it! I will post more pictures of the other bedrooms, the office and the t.v. room when I have them all decorated and done.  Now our next focus is onto the yard......Yipee....

It's about time!

This post is a little late but seeing how I lost my camera charger I couldn't get it done any quicker, but thank heavens I found it! (in a place I checked I swear 3 times!)  Anyways, we had such a fun Easter this year.  We spent the whole conference weekend in St. George with my family.  We always have so much fun with them. Our weekend consisted of swimming, motorcycling, watching conference, pigging out (as usual) going for walks and of course all the fun Easter celebrations.  It was so much fun waking up to an Easter egg hunt even though I am considered an adult now that I have a child.  Thanks to my parents and the fact I have younger siblings they let us be included in the easter egg hunt that morning.  Paislee got a way fun easter basket and a few other surprises!  Jayson was so cute and surprised me with my very own Easter basket and a way nice pot to go on my front porch with a gift card to get flowers for it.  I can't wait!  I got him a lovely easter tie with a couple pairs of new basketball shorts.  The Easter Bunny treated us well this year!

Paisers & Daddy in their Easter outfits the following Sunday
Okay, is she really not the cutest thing you've ever seen?  Seriously!
She was obviously REALLY excited about this easter gift.  That smile of hers is classic.  It wasn't till a couple days ago she started smiling where you can see her gums and teeth.  SO funny!

Paislee went swimming for the first time and loved it!

Once the weekend was over Jayson, my dad and little sister headed home for work and school. I planned on coming home, but my awesome husband told me he would be working all week and hardly home so that I should stay down with my mom and Ty and relax all week. It was so fun to spend the whole week with just us girls.  We didn't come home till that Friday.  Paislee and I were both home sick for Jayson by the time Friday came around, but we sure had fun!
There's that smile again....I love her so much I can barely stand it!

I have a crisis on hand!

Okay so I have taken loads and loads of pictures of the past few weeks and of our new home and my camera died....So what did I do?  I went immediately to plug it into charge and guess what, I can't find my charger anywhere!  We have unpacked everything and our house is pretty much all organized and I can't find it... Oh great!  So......Until I can find my charger I cannot post any of my pictures.  Sorry.... Until then this picture will have to do.  This was Paislee's first trip to the park that is literally 30 seconds from our house.  Jayson sent this picture to me and I was SOO sad I missed her first trip to the park(he took her Thursday which is the day I work every week).  I must say, Paislee has a good daddy who loves doing fun things with her.  I must give Jayson credit on picking out her outfit and bow for the day.  I love being able to trust leaving my daugher home with dad and know she will be taken care of and not stuck in her p.j.'s all day.  She loved the park if you can't tell!

Breastfeeding Withdrawals

Well folks, what a bitter sweet moment this is... I say this with a tear in my eye...Yes it is true, I have officially stopped breastfeeding. sniff sniff. As badly as I hated breastfeeding the first month of Paislee's life I am heartbroken that it is coming to an end. I always thought I would try and breastfeed till Paislee was at least one, but my body had different plans. Once we started introducing solids to Paisers I slowly noticed my milk going away...She no longer needed to eat every 3 hours or so which was lovely, yet I noticed my milk wasn't coming in as well. So what did I do? I immediately tried feeding Paislee way more often and trying to get my milk supply back. Have you ever tried breastfeeding a non-hungry 7 month old who is interested in anything and everything besides eating? NOT HAPPENING! So that idea didn't work.... So I carried on with feeding her like I was (low milk supply & all) and what happens....CONSTIPATION! I swear Paislee was constipated every single day (give or take 1 or 2 days a week) and I felt so bad for the poor little bugger. I didn't realize I was the reason until about 4 weeks into the constipation when I decided to give her formula during the day and breast feed her only in the morning and at night. It cleared up just like that! Well, as I switched to the morning and evening feedings what happened??? My milk obviously took a turn for the worse. Can I really only breastfeed my child if I am feeding her every 3 hours? Stupid boobs. So I have finally decided to stop trying & move onto the money sucking formula. I think I am handling this change far worse than Pais. On a more positive note, I am super excited to get my body back to COMPLETE normal now. Hopefully this engorged feeling doesn't last too much longer.....I feel like I am going to POP! Anyways, enough about my breasts and milk.... I love my little Paislee Ann and can't believe what a grown up girl she is now! Now I just need to get her trained to not pull my shirt down and or try to suck on my boob through my shirt in public...Although it shows she is getting smart and learning, its quite embarassing to say the least (especially when you are trying to make new friends in your ward and your holding a baby that is pulling your shirt down and biting at your boobs...) Thanks for letting me vent!

Let's start off the update with the Chubby Guts!

Ok so I feel overwhelmed with all that needs to be blogged about recently, so I am going to take this one step at a time. I have been meaning to do a 6 month post for my little Paislee Poo and as you all now know, have had no time to do so....Well folks, she is now almost 7 months so this is way over due. Paislee had her 6 month check-up a few weeks ago and weighed in at 17 lb. 15 oz (80%), 26" tall (52%) & her head measured 17.5 " (91%). The doctor said she is VERY VERY healthy. haha I am so grateful for her incredible health. She continues to grow more and more every day and is getting smarter by the second. Here are a few things Paislee's been up to since I last posted about her.....

Paislee started sitting up on her own when she was 4 months old. Now that she is almost 7 months old she is super solid at sitting on her own and she rolls over really well. She is SO close to crawling now and will probably start crawling any day!

Paislee got her first hair cut at 5 months old from Grandma Wood. She didn't mind it one bit!

Of course we had to have a couple toys in her hands to help distract her

When Paislee was around 5 months old Jayson started doing this with Paislee and she loved it! It makes her smile so big every single time he does this to her and she stands on his hand so solid. She keeps her legs stiff and he then throws her in the air like a cheerleader. He has been doing this almost two months now and she already can stand on her own if she is holding something and can pull herself up to a standing position all on her on.

She's been sportin a pony tail more often lately. Her hair was dark dark brown when she was born and now her hair is going so light. You can barely tell that she still has alot of hair.

Paislee got her first cold about a week ago. She had a really bad cough and runny nose. Although she looked like she felt like poop she still had a smile on her face, laughed all day and wanted to play 24/7. She is started to get alot better now but still has a little bit of a cough.

Paislee at exactly 6 months got her first teeth! This is her "teething face". She started doing this face and we thought it was so funny, then a couple days later her two lower teeth started coming through. They are so stinking cute and growing in really fast! Whenever Jayson and I eat in front of her she watches how we chew and opens and closes her mouth like she is chewing. I have been giving her little pieces of food lately and she loves chewing with her 2 little teeth.

Paislee welcomed her new cousin Oaklee to the world! Paislee now isn't the youngest in Jayson's family. We all thought Paislee looked so small until this little cutie was born. Paislee looks HUGE now!

Paislee loves Oaklee so so much!

We had a family cookie night where we made sugar cookies and took them to a few different people. It was so much fun and Paislee loved the frosting!

Grandpa Wood got Paisle this outfit from Cabela's. Now Paislee can go hunting with Dad!

Here is just a cute little picture of our chubby guts. I think chubby guts explains this little girl perfectly!

Our cute little family! We decided to all wear our camo to Jayson's parents house for Sunday dinner the other day. We thought we were pretty funny

**I will be posting soon with all the pictures of the big move and our lovely new home...Stay tuned!**
