I know I haven't posted much about pregnancy since the big exciting announcement. I'm still pregnant folks, in case you were wondering...and SO SO happy to be! I'm 18 weeks and feeling fabulous (for the most part)! This pregnancy has been COMPLETELY different than my pregnancy with Paislee. I'll go into details about that in a later post. In case you haven't heard (since I have failed so awfully at blogging) we found out at 14 weeks that Paislee gets to have this....
A LITTLE SISSY!!!!!
We are SO SO thrilled! The age difference between these two little girls is almost the exact same age difference between my little sister and I. I couldn't be more happy that Paislee gets to have a close sister and get to have some of the same experiences I got to growing up with a little sissy of my own.
There is something about a mother/daughter bond that is unexplainable... I look at pictures of my mom with us girls and it makes me so giddy (okay, okay, AND emotional) that I get to be a mother to two beautiful girls. What a huge blessing!
Paislee was a summer baby and so is this little gal. Could that be more perfect?! All the new clothes you have to buy for a growing child each season gets pricey so it will be nice to get to pull out Paislee's cute clothes she only got to wear for short periods of time and to be able to buy new clothes for baby girl #2 not because she has NOTHING that fits, but because I see something cute and want it, even if it isn't always practical...haha
I have dreams of buying bunk beds for the girls to share a room one day, watching them dress up and put make-up on each other, making up dances together, playing games and entertaining each other with their crazy imaginations, going to watch them in dance recitals and all the other fun things Hill and I did together growing up.. I'm sure sports like softball will be included into the mix and many other fun things as well. I CAN'T WAIT!
We are thrilled and can't believe we are already almost half way there! Now it's onto picking the name....We already have a couple solid names we are thinking about, I'll be sure to let you know when we decide :) Stay tuned for the details on this pregnancy and maybe even a picture or two of my growing bellay!

Did I know you were having a girl? I don't think I did, congratulations! Pais is going to be such a cute big sister. Can't wait to see your growing belly this weekend!
