Belly Photos!

It has been very exciting each week to take pictures of my belly to see how it changes each week. It is crazy how one week I can feel my stomach growing like crazy then when I compare pictures it is plain to see she is starting to grow super fast! I have absolutely loved being pregnant. I haven't found one negative thing about the whole experience yet. All the things people told me in advance to prepare me for the pregnancy experience got me all worked up for nothing! haha I have been very blessed to feel great and to have had a very positive experience. Each week it just gets more fun as well. Jayson was able to feel her kick for the first time this last Friday which was very exciting. I have been feeling her move since I was about 14 weeks pregnant but within the last week the bubbles and butterfly feelings in my stomach have turned into full on movements and kicks. IT IS AMAZING!!! It is so fun to put my hand on my belly and feel her move around. It makes it seem even more of a reality. I am half way through the pregnancy and I can hardly wait to finally hold her!

THE RESULTS ARE IN!

YAY!!!! We are so excited we can hardly stand it! All the waiting and anticipation has been killing me and it is so good to finally know what we are having. 62% of you were correct when you voted we were having a girl. Sorry for the other 38% who got it wrong..... Anywho, I have felt for a long time now that we were having a girl (as did Jayson, who has been telling people we are having a girl pretty confidentally for about a month now) and it feels great to finally know for sure. I kept taking tests online and reading all the myths on how you can tell which sex your baby is and every single quiz/myth said it was a boy, but deep down I always felt there was a little girl in my tummy. These were some of the myths that were making most people suspect I was having a boy:
1.If you are carrying low it is a boy, high if its a girl (I am carrying low)
2.You are more sick and nautious if it is a girl(I haven't been sick/nautious at all)
3.If you are craving salty/fast foods its a boy, fruit and veggies its a girl (I've craved Big Mac's and anything with grease and salt in it the whole time)
4.If the heart beat is under 140 its a boy and over 140 a girl (our first ultra sound her heart beat was 121 bpm)
5.Supposedly the chinese gender calendar can tell you if its a boy or a girl and according to my birthday and due date it was a boy.
So.... the myths are wrong! The baby looked great in her ultra sound and is growing so fast. She is 7 oz. and based on her size her Est. Due Date is Aug. 21st. I am so happy and grateful that everything is going perfect and now I can't wait to go shopping!

Happy Birthday Husband!

I just wanted to take a second to brag about my amazing husband on his special day. I don't even know where to even begin.... First, prior to marrying Jayson I knew I was marrying one of the most boyish boys on the planet. I didn't have too many high expectations that he'd be one of those husbands that would do romantic things, do house work or even cook dinner. But oh how wrong I was! He is by far the most helpful man I have ever met. Here are the top 15 things I appreciate and love about him:
1. He does the laundry 75% of the time, and puts it away!
2. He makes me dinner on those nights when I just dont feel like cooking
3. He wakes up and packs me a lunch every day I have work
4. He does the dishes and puts them away at least 50% of the time
5. Our bed is made every single morning because of him
6. He gets up at least three times a week to make me breakfast so I can actually eat a nutritious breakfast once in awhile (I usually sleep till the last second then eat breakfast on the go)
7. He rubs my feet every night when I get charly horses in my sleep and doesn't ever complain about rubbing them all day the next day cause their sore.
8. Everytime we end a conversation over the phone or he leaves he ALWAYS says I love you and kisses me.
9. Jayson never thinks of himself first. He is always looking for ways he can make other peoples lives better and to make sure everyone around him is happy.
10.He knows exactly what to say and to do to put me in a good mood and to make me laugh.
11.He is amazing with children! He will be the best dad ever!
12.Jayson is the most motivated person I have ever met. Every Sunday I sit and watch him make list after list of goals for the week and the things he wants to accomplish and he always is successful.
13.Anything he sets his mind to he can do. He wanted to start his own business, now he's the proud owner of a successful business. He has always had a passion for real estate, now he is a real estate agent. He has always wanted to be an Entrepreneur and now at the age of 24 he is well on his way. And those are just a few!
14.Jayson is spiritually strong in all aspects of the gospel and a great example.
15.And last but not least he is romantic! Yes people you heard me. Jayson Adam is romantic! haha he for sure is way more romantic as a husband than he ever was as a boyfriend. haha he's learning!
I feel so grateful to have married someone who lifts me up and who is always positive in every circumstance. Every single day I love Jayson more and more. He is my best friend and I am so grateful I get to spend eternity with him. I am the luckiest girl in the world! I love you baby boy and HAPPY 24th BIRTHDAY!!!!

Our V-day weekend

Alright so this had to be one of my favorite Valentines days ever. We literally had a Valentines weekend to tell you the truth. Friday night Jayson had planned a special evening for the two of us (to avoid Valentines day traffic). We began at Tepanyaki which was an 1 1/2 hour wait which I was perfectly fine with, but little did I know Jayson had something up his sleeve for the evening. We decided to go somewhere quick instead. We ate at Paradise bakery which I always love and then Jayson said we needed to be somewhere at 8. After eating he began driving and pulled into one of my favorite places in the entire world. MASSAGE ENVY!! We then had an hour long relaxing massage which I thoroughly enjoyed. Afterwards we went straight to bed where I fell asleep like two seconds later. The next day (V-Day) I slept in till 10 and Jayson came home from his basketball game and climbed in bed with me where we watched a movie and relaxed all morning. It was snowing like crazy so we decided to put all of our snow gear on and take my dad's fourwheeler around the neighborhood. We also had a ton of fun chasing my parents Llama's around.(for those of you who don't know my family has llama's and Jayson and I live right next door to my parents pasture where they keep them)

All dressed up and ready to hit the snow packed streets on the fourwheeler

This picture made me almost pee my pants from laughing so hard

Oh the good ol Llamas!

Two hours later, after plowing lots of drive ways and playing in the snow with the Llamas we came home and got ready for yet another romantic night. We went to Tepanyaki and had an amazing dinner. Afterwards we came home and Jayson went to pick up a movie. To make things short he came home with roses and Madagascar 2 to a room full of candles and a little bit of romance. The night ended with us cuddling up watching one of the funniest movies ever. It couldn't have been more perfect!

Oh how the belly is growing!!

Our baby is growing so so fast! The new due date is now August 27th!

1st TRIMESTER DOWN, 2 TO GO!!!! Jayson and I have been taking pictures every Thursday night so we could have a little scrapbook of the growth of my belly. I am so glad we have done this because now I can see all the different changes that occur each week. I can't believe how much my belly has grown already! I know it will only get bigger and bigger as the weeks go by. We get to find out in four weeks if it is a boy or a girl. I can't wait!! My motherly intuition is kicking in (or so I think) and I think it is a girl. Jayson thinks the same. Who knows.... We will be so so happy either way! I will continue to keep you updated on the progress!

One Year Ago!

One year ago my adorable husband popped the big question I had literally been waiting my entire life to be asked. "Will you?" was basically all he asked (with tears in his eyes might I add). I was completely not expecting it at all because he told me we were going ring shopping the next day. Little did I know he had gone out on his own and picked the ring out weeks before. It was perfect the way he proposed. He told me his mom was having a "Jazz party" and that the whole family was going. Little did I know this whole Jazz party was just an excuse to have the whole fam over to watch the big proposal. So of course I get in all my Jazz gear and show up to see I am the only one even Jazzed up at all. Still I didn't think anything of it. There was tons of food and I kept thinking to myself "This is a big deal party for just a dumb Jazz game". Throughout the entire 1st half Jayson's nieces and nephews kept running out and saying "We made up a dance can we show you!" and every one kept saying, "just wait till half time" Finally half time came around and all the kids came out to do their dance. After they did their cute little dance they all pulled up their shirts and it said will you marry me on their bellies. I still didn't even catch on at this point until Jayson kneeled down in front of me. This is when he said "Will you?" and I just broke into tears. It was such a special night and it couldn't have been a more perfect way to propose. Last night(Feb. 8 is the actual date of proposal) to celebrate we cuddled up in our P.J.'s in our bed and watched the Jazz game together. Seeing how it was a Sunday we couldn't go out on the town but relaxing and laying in each others arms during the game was by far the best way to celebrate. I love Jayson so much and I never would have imagined a year later we'd be so happily married with a baby on the way! That was by far one of the best days of my life!

Which do you think?

Haha, okay so I thought this was so fetchin funny. I could have spent hours on this website creating our future children. It is funny to see what our future baby will look like (guarantee they will probably look nothing like this). I am trying to listen to my motherly intuition to figure out whether we are having a boy or a girl, but quite frankly I'm stumped. When talking about the baby I always seem to call it a "her" or "she" but in my dreams it's a "him" or "he". I wish we could find out now! Feel free to make your own guesses and let me know!
